Few days ago i played on server and get banned for aimbot.

I play as hero(1 round) then as et a280(2 rounds). Someone said few times im using aimbot, on 4 round start - kicked out.

I mean... rly? Aimbot?
If i would like to cheat i woudnt be guy who made AntiCheat for mb2 for God sake!

It's frist time in my entire life i got banned for such thing without explanation.

I lifted his ban because I know him for a long time and I know that he would never lower himself into hacking.

Above all he is the guy who made the new AntiCheat system for MB2 and is a respected and reliable member of the MB2 betatest team.

I don't want to know which one of us was stupid enough to ban him, because this is a truly embrassing situation that might definitely undermine us in the eyes of the community.

I agree Deshiel. Especially for something as stupid as an aimbot? Pretty sure there isn't even an existing working one left for this game.

Was this on Pierry's or my server? I've only used admin twice since I have been back and both times have been to change the map on the server.

I find it hard to believe any of our admins would abuse someone like this. Do you have any screen shots? I'd like to see who the admin was, and what he said to you before you were kicked.

Not saying I don't believe you, but there are two sides to every story, and none of our admins I think would do something like this.

To be honest your the first person I have ever seen banned of our servers.

I apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. If it was on my server I will go back through the logs and see what ip banned you.

Yeah there are a few working aim bots Apex, but they really are only good for gripping with force focus and using ruptor. You have to lead the rest of your shots with every other gun so an aimbot will actually mess you up unless its real short range.

I was under the impression that only Council, Server Owners, and Server Admins were the only ones with full smod.

I can understand the need to have more admins to police the servers, why don't we add a sub s smod that can only kick and temp ban?

If we did things like this wouldn't come up as much.

Pierry seems to have his own system going. To the best of my knowledge, the NA admin logins don't work on the Euro server and vice versa.

Not really my place to say, and its not my server. But personally I am comferatable with all AE admins and Council having admin to my server. I also plan on leaving who gets admin up to the Council. I dont feel me paying for the server gives me the right to hand out admin to whatever clan member I wish. I've made leadership mistakes before, and they are generally because I didn't try and get a consensus from my fellow leaders and went off and acted alone. 9 times out of 10 I end up regretting the outcome.

Maybe if we had a more uniform policy we could avoid things like this. I think before any AE member gets admin they should be approved by the majority of the council. I mean thats how everything else works in this clan. Why not for admin, something that has the potential to make us look real bad, just like today.

By the way, most admins who have been admins for a while have made a few rash mistakes.

I dont think you would do bad with admin to be honest. You've been around the community forever. I'll shoot you the pass if you get approval from the Council.

Nobody is hard at Nihilus, because his failure is actualy our own doing.

None of the admins here have recieved any kind of education, tutorial or tips about how AE servers should be moderated.

We are all "admins" driven by our own sense of justice. That's is why I almost jumped on Saix once, because he took action before verbal reasoning and crowd control, which are my primary weapons rather than the more known abusive tools of an admin. (thats my style tho)

So if we don't want to repeat something similar ever again, we should take some precautions no? :3

We got a pretty level headed, strong council, I'm sure they will come up with something that will help keep things like this from happening again.

I've allready decided with my server that what the Council wants done with it, will be how it will be ran.

Thats my perogative and my choice. However Pierry is paying for the Euro server and its his perrogative and choice how admin is handed out.

I will say though pierry is a great admin, and a level headed dude. I can promise you he wants no one abused on his server.

Maybe we can make some official admining guidelines? So we enforce admin uniformally on all our servers.

Yes I'm going to bring something up about this. I don't see that every EU member should have full admin, maybe at least just a kick or something. But not even half of the NA members half admin, not even close. We can't just be handing it out to everybody unless it was some sort of sub password. But I'll speak with the rest of the Council and until then the topic is locked.
