Clan Leader
To whoever is still reading this forum I have to announce that I will be temporarily keeping this clan alive until Pierry sorts out what is keeping him busy and will fully take over the team again, when that happens, I will probably be normal member again or be helping him as his vice.
There will be several changes.
1. brutally outdated rosters will be updated and undecided members questioned about their affiliation to the clan
2. new server will be brought back online (working on that with Pierry, shud be sorted in less than 1 week)
2. forum will be cleaned (don't be afraid that I delete any important posts, I will simply move them to archive forums as soon as I figure out how to do that
)
3. xfire group http://www.xfire.com/communities/aftereffect1/ will be cleaned and updated
4. recruiting will be revived (Pierry and I will be mostly deciding but unless more than 3 people are against, we will put the applicant through trial with tags and forum access so we can monitor his activity more), it should be more dynamic, I read all about the discussion about recruiting approaches in Council forum and it seems that it was always messy and always somebody didn't agree with it or whatnot so now it will be simple: current members will have the right to comment on new applicants in members area and if there is not more than 3 negative voices, I say, we give the guy a chance starting with currently pending applis
5. events such as saturday scrim will resume
6. clan wars with other clans
7. new and clear system of sharing admin on server will be created and used so no more shady sharing between friends and friends of friends when half the people who has the admin are afraid to use it openly because they wen't having it officially and blah blah more useless drama
so from now on, we will use simply system which will involve counting member's contribution to the clan and based on it he will receive privileges and other perks along the way
it will be elaborated in members area but the idea is to not only share power with members but also some of the responsibilities so it brings us all together and destroys the idea that there are evil clan leaders who keep all the power for only themselves
and also saves uf from situations like I faced couple weeks back when some unknown guy was spamming admin on server, I didn't know him, he wasn't even on roster and later I found he had 4 posts on this forum
just crazy
so things will be more easy to follow and I think you all will like it
